"Raleigh is a growing town, buildings going up some coming down. Sometimes it's not a building that comes down, it's a builder. That when they call me in, I'm Detective Sam Slaughter, Homicide." As Detective Sam Slaughter questions all the suspects, even Producer Jory Regn is not above suspicion.

Sara continues to spurn Gordon, the Australian adventurer who is madly in love with her.
